The Summer Zoominar Series:  From Seed to Shade: Tree & Garden Talks 

 

 Join us on the 2nd Saturday of each summer month at 9:00 AM for this free virtual education series focused on tree and garden care. 

Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started, these sessions will provide valuable insights to help you grow a greener, more sustainable landscape. 

Presented by: Lindsay Ono, “The Plant Professor” -- Professor of Environmental Horticulture, Bakersfield College and Friend

Trees & Wildlife at the CALM Zoo

Enjoy a delicious breakfast surrounded by California native trees
and enjoy a beautiful fall Saturday morning, November 4th at CALM Zoo.

Join us for a special event at CALM
with breakfast, unlimited train rides,
and a guided tour of the native trees, plants and wildlife.

 Take a tour of the animal hospital,
and be sure to check out the bears when they come out of their caves for breakfast.

Your admission ticket allows you to stay all day!

 Tickets will be available at calmzoo.org beginning Thursday, October 12th.

 

Proceeds support the Tree Foundation of Kern and tree planting projects across Kern County.
